Summary

FORGE is designed with privacy as a priority. Your workout data stays on your device and syncs via your personal iCloud account. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Data We Collect

Data stored on your device

The following data is stored locally on your device and synced to your personal iCloud account:

• Workout history (exercises, sets, reps, weights)
• User preferences (goals, schedule, equipment access)
• Body metrics you choose to provide (weight, height, age)
• Session feedback (readiness levels, perceived exertion)

This data is yours. It is not transmitted to our servers.

Apple HealthKit Data

With your permission, FORGE reads and writes data to Apple HealthKit:

• Read: Resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep duration, active energy
• Write: Strength training workouts, active calories burned

HealthKit data is used solely to personalize your training (e.g., adjusting workout intensity based on recovery signals). This data is never transmitted to external servers, never used for advertising, and never sold. HealthKit data remains on your device and in your personal Health app.

Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics to improve the app. This includes:

• App opens and session duration
• Feature usage (which screens are visited)
• Workout completion rates
• Crash reports and performance metrics

Analytics are aggregated and cannot be used to identify you personally. We use this data to understand how the app is used and to prioritize improvements.

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to FORGE Premium, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We receive a transaction record but do not have access to your payment information. Apple's privacy policy governs payment processing.

How We Use Your Data

• Personalization: To generate workouts tailored to your goals, history, and recovery
• Improvement: To identify bugs, improve performance, and prioritize features
• Support: To assist you if you contact us with questions

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We may share data only in these circumstances:

• Service providers: Analytics services that help us understand app usage (aggregated, anonymous data only)
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights

Data Retention

Your workout data is stored on your device and iCloud account. If you delete the app, your local data is removed. iCloud data can be managed through your Apple ID settings.

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months for trend analysis, then deleted.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all your data within the app
• Delete: Remove your data by deleting the app and associated iCloud data
• Opt out: Disable HealthKit access in iOS Settings at any time
• Request information: Contact us to ask what data we hold about you

Security

Your data is protected by Apple's device encryption and iCloud security. We do not operate servers that store your personal workout data.

Children's Privacy

FORGE is not intended for users under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or this website. Continued use of FORGE after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
