FORGE ("we", "our", or "the app") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

Summary

FORGE is designed with privacy as a priority. Your workout data stays on your device. We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.

Data We Collect

Data stored on your device

The following data is stored locally on your device only:

• Workout history (exercises, sets, reps, weights)
• User preferences (goals, schedule, equipment access)
• Your name (used for in-app display only)
• Body metrics you choose to provide (weight, height, age, biological sex)
• Session feedback (readiness levels, perceived exertion)
• Personal records and exercise customizations
• Gym profiles and equipment configurations

This data is yours. It is not transmitted to our servers or any third party.

Apple HealthKit Data

With your permission, FORGE reads and writes data to Apple HealthKit:

• Read: Resting heart rate, heart rate variability, sleep duration, step count, active energy
• Write: Strength training workouts, active calories burned

HealthKit data is used solely to personalize your training (e.g., adjusting workout intensity based on recovery signals). This data is never transmitted to external servers, never used for advertising, and never sold. HealthKit data remains on your device and in your personal Health app.

Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage analytics via TelemetryDeck, a privacy-focused analytics service based in the EU. This includes:

• App opens and session duration
• Feature usage (which screens are visited, which features are used)
• Workout events (exercises performed, completion rates)
• Subscription status (free or premium)
• An anonymous user identifier (a randomly generated ID, not tied to your name, email, or Apple ID)

Analytics data cannot be used to identify you personally. We use this data to understand how the app is used and to prioritize improvements. TelemetryDeck does not track users across apps and is GDPR compliant. Learn more at telemetrydeck.com/privacy.

Crash Reporting

We use Sentry to collect crash reports and performance data in release builds. This includes:

• Crash stack traces and error logs
• App performance metrics (launch time, hangs)
• Anonymous breadcrumbs (actions taken before a crash)
• Device type and iOS version

Crash reports do not include your name, workout data, or any personal information. They are linked only to an anonymous identifier. Screenshots and view hierarchies are never captured. Learn more at sentry.io/privacy.

Remote Configuration

FORGE uses Supabase to deliver configuration updates and feature experiments. This includes:

• A/B test assignments (which variant of a feature you see)
• Remote configuration values (e.g., workout duration suggestions)

Only your anonymous user identifier is sent to Supabase. No personal data, workout history, or health information is transmitted. Learn more at supabase.com/privacy.

Subscription Data

If you subscribe to FORGE Premium, your purchase is processed by Apple through the App Store. We use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. RevenueCat receives your anonymous app user ID and purchase transaction data from Apple, but does not have access to your payment information or personal details. How We Use Your Data

• Personalization: To generate workouts tailored to your goals, history, and recovery
• Improvement: To identify bugs, improve performance, and prioritize features
• Support: To assist you if you contact us with questions

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

We share anonymous data only with these service providers:

• TelemetryDeck: Anonymous usage analytics
• Sentry: Crash reports and performance monitoring
• Supabase: Remote configuration and A/B testing
• RevenueCat: Subscription management
• Apple: App Store purchases and HealthKit (governed by Apple's privacy policy)

We may also share data if required by law or to protect our rights.

Data Retention

Your workout data is stored on your device. If you delete the app, your local data is removed.

Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 24 months for trend analysis, then deleted.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all your data within the app
• Delete: Remove your data by deleting the app
• Opt out: Disable HealthKit access in iOS Settings at any time
• Request information: Contact us to ask what data we hold about you

Security

Your data is protected by Apple's device encryption. We do not operate servers that store your personal workout data. All third-party services receive only anonymous identifiers.

Children's Privacy

FORGE is not intended for users under 17. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be communicated through the app or this website. Continued use of FORGE after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
